Attila Hanak, Founder of The Sixteenth Bar, a company established to create one-of-a-kind custom Sample Packs for Electronic Music Producers. The Sixteenth Bar is also dedicated to spread the knowledge of Music Production, and has a substantial YouTube channel offering tutorials on all aspects of Electronic Music Production. Attila's career began DJ-ing in Hungary from 1993 to 2000 and he was a substantial part of the reason why Electronic Music exploded there in the 90’s. Attila built his own studio from the ground up, designed and fabricated a massive synthesizer setup called OSCAR. OSCAR boasts over 100 Eurorack format modules, a number of standalone synthesizers such as the MOOG Sub 37, DFAM and Mother 32, the Arturia MiniBrute, and 2 drum machines. Attila uses OSCAR much like an Electronic Orchestra, to create unique textures in his own Music, as well as to make sure that every sample pack he designs is one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. Attila designed the entire studio in a way where all the hardware synths and external gear can be controlled from a central DAW with nearly the same flexibility as using virtual instruments.
Attila so far has contributed to Production Music Live's MasterClass portfolio with his comprehensive 9+ hours long MASTERCLASS ABOUT THE ABLETON PUSH 2 as well as another substantial MasterClass about using Ableton to produce with external synths and drum machines. This MasterClass is called ANALOG MEETS DIGITAL and covers everything there is to know about working with hardware gear in your productions.
